About Terence Tan
My Name is Terence Tan Ooi Miin,I have been coaching Swimming since 1990. I have coached Swimming in different levels from baby, improver, competitive, open water , People with Disability ,Lifesaving and even Scuba. I have also contributed to the swim scene as a Tutor with Singapore Swimming Teachers association.
I have been a sports enthusiast since young. Competed at national level during school days: Softball, Swimming, Waterpolo, Canoeing, dragon boat, track and field and cross country etc.
I am currently participating in sports like marathon, long distance swim and Ironman. I am a multiple Ironman finisher and I hope to make it a lifetime event to participate. As the ironman slogan says: “Anything is possible!”
I have brought this theory into my coaching philosophy and believe that everybody can be taught.
