Terms & Conditions
General
Participants must complete the Program Enrolment Form and submit it along with cash or a cheque for all fees before commencement of class.
Participants who participate in Swim Kinetics programs do so entirely at their own risk. Swim Kinetics shall not be liable for any injuries sustained by participants directly or indirectly related to or as a result of his / her participation in the programs.
Swim Kinetics reserves the rights to take and use pictures of participants at lesson times for publicity and training purposes.
Class Ratio
Each class will have a maximum of 10 students to 1 Teacher (Public Pool)
Each class will have a maximum of 8 students to 1 Teacher (Private Pool)
Lessons are based on 4 times a month.
* Note: Lesson are not based on the number of lessons you attend in a month.
* Note: There will be no replacement lesson if you cannot make it for the registered class.
* Each lesson is 45mins.
In the event of Bad Weather
In the event of bad weather, your Swimming Teacher will be stationed at the designated lesson venues for the entire lesson duration and continue with lesson once the condition is suitable. The lesson will be chargeable and there shall be no refund or make-up class. There is no make up for bad weather.
Fifth week and Public Holidays
In the event where lesson falls on public holiday it is considered done.
There will be no lesson on fifth week of the month mainly 29th, 30th and 31st.
Certification
* Certificate from (Swimming Teacher’s Association UK) will be issued to participants who passed the assessment.
Private Lesson
There will be no make up for late attendance or last minute cancellations for class. All cancellations of swimming lesson must be made at least one day in advance after which make-up lessons will have to be arranged directly with the Swimming Teacher. All participants are to undergo at least 4 lessons on a monthly basis. Failure to do so would result in any outstanding lessons to be forfeited.
Fees Payment
Program fees are payable on Bi-monthly basis and per-term basis for Lifesaving Classes, unless otherwise indicated.
Collections of swimming fees will be at the beginning of every month.
Payment shall be made either by Cash, Paynow or by Cheque in Singapore currency drawn on a bank in Singapore and shall be crossed and made payable to “Swim Kinetics”.
Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable
TEMPORARY STOPPAGE / WITHDRAWAL OF PARTICIPATION
Participants who wish to withdraw entirely / take leave / temporarily stop from any program for 3 weeks or more, may do so by informing Swim Kinetics by mail, email, whats app or sms 2 weeks in advance.
For temporary stoppage, any outstanding lessons will be forfeited.
No time slots shall be reserved for the participant in his / her period of temporary stoppage.
For students who miss 3 or more lessons consecutively without prior notice or reason given to Swim Kinetics, his / her vacancy will be given up to another interested student and any outstanding lessons will be forfeited.
